Person Injured in Highway 18 Accident Airlifted

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) A two-vehicle traffic collision injured one person and temporarily closed eastbound lanes of Highway 18.
The accident was reported at 2:56 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 18 and Quinnault Road involving a white Toyota Tacoma and Cadillac sedan.
The Tacoma was reported to have rolled over before landing back on its wheels and one of the involved vehicles also struck a utility box.
According to scanner traffic, one person was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by the Apple Valley Police Department.
