Pedestrian struck in Hesperia airlifted Saturday night

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A pedestrian struck by an suv was airlifted to a trauma center Saturday night.

At about 9:05 pm on August 17th deputies responded to the area of Tamarisk Avenue and Yucca Street and located the pedestrian down in the roadway.

A white 2007 Toyota 4Runner was also stopped in the roadway, the driver remained at the scene. A small metal cart used to carry groceries or other items was left behind near where the impact occurred.

Firefighters requested a helicopter to airlift the patient to an out of area trauma center with unknown injuries.
