Man Gets Pinned Under Car in Adelanto

ADELANTO-(VVNG.com): At approximately 4:35 A.M., on Monday, June 29th, dispatch received a report of a vehicle versus a pedestrian on Pearmain Street just north of Palmdale Road in Adelanto.
When first responders arrived on scene, a 69-year-old man was pinned under the front drivers side tire of a red compact car. The injured man cried out in agony as emergency personnel carefully removed him from beneath the vehicle.
The man was determined to be suffering from multiple fractures to the lower extremities of his body.
According to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Spokeswoman, Jodi Miller, the man exited his vehicle to investigate an abnormal sound. “He was getting out of the car to check what was wrong, the car began to roll and he was pulled underneath the car. One of his legs was trapped under the car,” said Miller.
He was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. An update of his condition was not immediately made available.
