Pedestrian struck by a vehicle that fled the scene in Victorville Saturday night

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene Saturday night.
It happened at about 8:55 pm at the intersection of Green Tree Blvd and Arrowhead Drive in Victorville.
A couple of Good Samaritans driving by saw the male pedestrian down in the roadway and stopped to help while first responders arrived.
The pedestrian was responsive and talking with deputies at the scene.
Victorville City Firefighters requested a helicopter to airlift the patient to a trauma center. The patient was flown to Loma Linda University Medical Center with unknown type injuries.
