Pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Phelan Road Thursday night

PHELAN, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A pedestrian struck by a vehicle was airlifted to a trauma center Thursday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol incident logs, at 8:10 pm a 2015 BMW struck a pedestrian in the area of Phelan and Sheep Creek Roads.
San Bernardino County Firefighters responded to the incident and requested a helicopter to airlift the pedestrian.
A landing zone was set-up in a field at the nearby Stater Brother’s shopping center.
The person was flown via Mercy 22 helicopter to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
CHP is handling this investigation and additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
