Pedestrian struck and killed on the SB-15 freeway in Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — All southbound lanes of the I-15 freeway in Victorville have reopened after a pedestrian was struck and killed.
It happened at about 3:30 am on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, along the I-15 between Palmdale Road and Roy Rogers Drive.
A video of the scene shared by Victor Valley News Group member James Lopez showed a body covered with a yellow tarp in the lanes leading to the Palmdale Road off-ramp.
The incident shut down all southbound lanes of the I-15 for an unknown duration as officials investigated.
As of 7:00 am the scene was cleared and no restrictions were in place.
