Pedestrian Struck and Killed on the I-15 Friday Night

BARSTOW-(VVNG.com): A 33-year-old Barstow man died after being struck by a vehicle on the freeway Friday night.
At around 8:30 p.m. dispatchers received the report of a pedestrian, later identified as Jason Jackson struck by a vehicle on the southbound I-15 near East Main Street in Barstow.
California Highway Patrol (CHP) officials said that Jackson was struck by a Ford F-150 in the #1 lane, as he attempted to cross the freeway.
CHP officers and Medical Personnel arrived and at around 8:50 p.m. determined that he was deceased as a result of his injuries.
No other injuries were reported as a result of this collision. The CHP is continuing to investigate the incident.
