Pedestrian Struck and Killed in Early Friday Morning Accident on Hesperia Road
HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A portion of Hesperia Road was closed early Friday morning for a fatal accident investigation.
It happened at about 4:13 am, on October 11, 2024, near Eucalyptus Street in the City of Hesperia.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez said the collision involved a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Rodriguez said that based on preliminary information, the pedestrian was walking in the traffic lane when they were struck by a pickup truck.
The driver of the Nissan pickup truck remained at the scene. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Hesperia Road was closed in both directions for several hours while deputies conducted the investigation. The gender or identity of the deceased pedestrian was not available for release at the time of this article.
