Pedestrian hit by car on Mojave Drive in Victorville airlifted to trauma center

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle here Tuesday night in the westbound lanes of Mojave Drive.
The call was dispatched at about 11:08 p.m. near the intersection of Topango Road and Mojave Drive in Victorville.
When emergency personnel on scene they located a pedestrian with critical injuries.
The involved vehicle, a blue Chevy sedan, remained on scene. The vehicle sustained major damage to the front windshield.
San Bernardino County Helicopter h325 was requested to land at Victor Valley Global Medical Center to further airlift the person to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
Officials shut down the #2 lane of westbound Mojave Drive while they investigated the crash.
