Pedestrian airlifted after crash on Princeton Drive in Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A male pedestrian was flown to a trauma center after he was struck by a vehicle Monday.
At about 4:30 p.m., the Victorville Fire Department and Victorville Police were dispatched to the 13200 block of Luna Road and Princeton Drive, regarding a person struck by a van.

The pedestrian was transported by ambulance to Liberty Park and then taken by a helicopter to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, according to scanner traffic.
The female driver of the white van remained on scene and cooperated with authorities.

An update on the condition of the pedestrian was not immediately available. The official cause of the accident is under investigation by the Victorville Police Department.
