Pedestrian, 89, dies after being hit by vehicle in Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — An 89-year-old Victorville man has died from his injuries after he was struck by a vehicle Monday afternoon, officials confirmed.
At about 4:30 pm, Manuel Fernandez was walking south on Princeton Drive, crossing Luna Road when he was hit by a Chrysler minivan that was traveling eastbound on Luna Road.
A 70-year-old Victorville woman driving the vehicle did not see Fernandez crossing the street and the front of her minivan struck him, officials said.
