Paramedics Flee After Being Shot At in Hesperia

HESPERIA:(VVNG.com)- An ambulance crew was forced to run for cover after a male fired several shots into the air nearby. The shooting occurred on the 7700 block of E Avenue in Hesperia at about 12:45 a.m., on Tuesday, November 10, 2015.

became upset with with everyone, walked over to a vehicle and retrieved a sawed-off shotgun. The male, later identified as Victorville resident, 33-year-old Dajuan Kendall,  then fired several shots into the air. Kendall then fled the scene in a white four door vehicle.

 

The female, according to San Bernardino County Sheriff Department officials was safely taken by a family member to a local hospital for treatment of the medical issue. Through investigation the suspect’s identity was learned to be different from what his girlfriend knew him as. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

Deputies from the Victorville Sheriff’s Station assisted in locating the suspect at a residence in the City of Victorville. Kendall was taken into custody without further incident and was booked into the High Desert Detention Center for Assault with a Deadly Weapon. He is being held in lieu of $250,000 bail and is set to appear in court on Friday, November 13th for an arraignment hearing.
