One person killed in multi-vehicle crash on northbound 15 freeway near Primm
MOUNTAIN PASS, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred overnight on the northbound I-15 freeway near Primm.
The crash was reported on March 8, 2024, at about 2:11 am, near the Primm Valley Golf Course, several miles from the NV/CA Stateline.
According to the California Highway Patrol incident logs, the collision involved multiple vehicles, including a white Volkswagen sedan, a black sedan that was crushed, and a gray Lexus. The logs indicated that a semi was also involved in the crash.
Following the collision only one person was reported to have exited from the damaged vehicles and all lanes were stopped.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and pronounced one person deceased.
The investigation prompted a closure of the northbound lanes that extended until after 6:00 am. Motorists were using the center divider to navigate around the accident.
The coroner was responding to the location and the identity of the deceased will be released pending notification of next of kin.
