One person injured in Wednesday morning crash in Hesperia

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Authorities are investigating a crash that left one person injured early Wednesday morning.

At about 6:16 am, San Bernardino County Fire was dispatched to reports of a crash in the area of Caliente and Ranchero Roads.

Upon arrival, they located a white Dodge Charger with major damage. Firefighters reported it appeared the vehicle came from the southbound I-15 freeway.

Officers with the California Highway Patrol as well as deputies from the Hesperia Sheriff’s Station both respond to the incident.

One person was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The vehicle damaged approximately 100 feet of chain linked fence along Caliente Road and the I-15.

Ranchero Road was briefly closed as first responders treated the patient and later to remove the vehicle from the roadway.
