One person ejected, two others trapped in Phelan crash

PHELAN, Calif. (VVNG.com) — One person was ejected and two others were trapped following a traffic collision Monday night.

It was reported at 7:47 p.m. at the intersection of Duncan and Johnson Roads and involved two vehicles, a black truck and a white van.

According to the California Highway Patrol logs, the van was westbound on Duncan Road when it struck the truck.

it took firefighters about 15 minutes to extricate the last person from one of the vehicles.

An airship was requested to land at the Stater Brothers parking lot at Phelan Road and Sheep Creek Road to transport one person to Loma Linda University Medical Center.

Two other people with moderate injuries were transported to local hospitals.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
