One person critically injured in crash on Mariposa Road in Hesperia

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) – One person was critically injured following a two-vehicle crash Thursday night.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputies from the Hesperia Station and San Bernardino County Firefighters were dispatched to the area of Live Oak Street and Mariposa Road at about 5:45 p.m. on January 30, 2020.
Emergency workers located a Prius with significant front end damage and a pickup truck that had an attached trailer hauling a vehicle with minor damage.
The driver of the Prius was taken by ground ambulance to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with critical injuries. The driver of the pickup truck did not report any serious injuries, Deputy R. Ballantyne told Victor Valley News.
According to preliminary reports, the pickup truck was northbound on Mariposa Road and the Prius was on Westbound on Live Oak Street when the crash occurred.
Mariposa Road was temporarily shut down for an investigation and debris cleanup.
