Olive Garden to Open First Hesperia Location at High Desert Gateway

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Olive Garden is officially coming to Hesperia, bringing the city its first-ever location of the nationally recognized Italian restaurant chain.

The announcement marks a major addition to Hesperia’s growing commercial landscape, as the new restaurant joins the High Desert Gateway shopping center near Main Street and Cataba Road.

While neighboring Victorville has long hosted an Olive Garden near the Mall of Victor Valley, this will be the first time Hesperia residents will have a local location of their own.

City officials say the move reflects Hesperia’s continued expansion and its rising appeal to major national brands.

The announcement was made on Thursday, January 29, 2026, in a joint statement by Lewis Retail Centers and the City of Hesperia.

“This announcement, along with the recent news that Burlington Coat Factory will occupy the former JoAnn’s space, reflects continued confidence from national brands in Hesperia as a high-growth market and reinforces High Desert Gateway’s role as a key commercial center,” city officials stated in a post on social media.

An opening date for the new Olive Garden has not yet been confirmed, and further details about the project are still being developed.

This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
