Obituary: Remembering Cindy Wood-Neri

(VVNG.com) Cindy Wood-Neri of Victorville, passed away April,13th 2017, after a short and tendentious battle with ovarian cancer. Born July 8th,1962, in Los Angeles, CA, Cindy graduated from Wilson High School in Hacienda Heights, CA, and lived majority of her life in the High Desert.
Cindy was a loving, selfless woman of faith who loved her family very much. She was a hands on mother & grandmother, in which she dedicated her life.
Many people remember her as always lending a helping hand, and always there for many, when they needed it most. She was much like a “baby whisperer” and loved children. She truly was a unselfish woman who happily put her family before her own dreams, and always thought of them before herself.
In her younger years Cindy worked as a custodian in San Bernardino County. In recent years she had been caring for her husband who also has health issues.
Cindy was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic ovarian cancer earlier this month at St Mary’s Medical Center. A few weeks after learning about her condition her family had also learned that the cancer had unknowingly spread to several parts of her body. As a last attempt to save her life she was transferred to The Cancer Hope Center in San Diego, where Cindy past away at the unseasonable age of 53 years old.
She is survived by her Husband of 31 years, David; their children Katrina and David Neri, four grandchildren and four siblings whom she had been very close to.
Her family is currently trying to raise funds to bring her home and lay her rest in this very difficult time.
