HESPERIA, Calif. — Assemblyman Jay Obernolte (R-Hesperia) marked Hispanic Heritage Month by honoring Oscar and Rosalba Garcia for their remarkable contributions to our High Desert community. Each year, Americans celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15th through October 15th) in recognition of the deep history, culture and contributions of Hispanic Americans.
Oscar and Rosalba Garcia are the owners of Elementum Services, Inc, which is a family-owned and operated disaster restoration company located in Hesperia. They assist both home and business owners who have experienced destruction caused by flood, fire or mold. Since opening in 2001, their primary focus has always been on helping their distressed customers seamlessly navigate the renovation process. They are committed to providing the necessary support to help both families and business owners deal with the damage to their home or property and ensure that it gets completely restored—with the least heartache possible.
Not only are Oscar and Rosalba in the business of helping people, but they are also passionate about contributing to their community. Elementum Services works closely with the Family Assistance Program by co-hosting fundraisers to benefit human trafficking victims and survivors. They also raise money for the Santa’s Sleigh program to help children who are less fortunate during the holiday season and are active supporters of Rock N’ Our Disabilities Foundation. Additionally, their company encourages volunteerism by partnering with the Don Ferrarese Foundation’s golf tournament to raise money for scholarships to aid students who engage in community service.

Hispanic Heritage month is a time to celebrate the histories and cultures of Americans whose families came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. It is also a great opportunity to acknowledge the many ways that Hispanic Americans have helped shape the United States. As the fastest-growing ethnic group in our state, Latino Americans play a significant role in California and have a large impact in many communities throughout the 33rd Assembly District.
