VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- It’s that time of year. Graduates marching to the tune of “Pomp and Circumstance,” Barbecues getting dusted off, and vacation plans are in full effect. And more often than not, dad’s get the raw end of the deal.
“We celebrate moms so much during May, and deservingly so, that Father’s Day often gets overlooked,” says Brian Ortega, Social Media Marketing Manager at Valley Hi Toyota. “We spend nearly 50% more for Mother’s Day than for Father’s Day.”
This Tuesday, June 14th, the Victorville dealership is giving away three amazing gifts for Father’s Day. Valley Hi Toyota conducted a small survey to see which prizes would be most appropriate. “We know there are some amazing dads out there and we wanted to make sure we’re offering great prizes,” says Todd Stokes General Manager.
Instead of one winner on the Facebook contest, Valley Hi Toyota is giving away 3 separate gifts to 3 different dads. One of the prizes is a $100 gift card to Best Buy. “That was the number one item on the Victor Valley News Group survey,” says Ortega. The next prize is a Family Meal at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Victorville. The final prize is the ultimate car wash and detail at the dealership ($169 value)
Contestants will enter by using a specific hashtag. They will describe how amazing their #dad, #granddad, or #stepdad is on the comments section of the video which will go LIVE at 1:00pm on Tuesday on Valley Hi Toyota’s Facebook page.
