Man Reports Being Beaten and Robbed for Jewelry, Wallet and Drugs

UPDATE: According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the victim reported that his heroin was also stolen. It is now believed that the victim was dealing heroin and got robbed and beaten.
VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): At about 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening dispatch received a report of an armed robbery in the parking lot of the Stater Bros. market located at 15235 Hook Boulevard. The victim told authorities that he was approached by the suspect, who was armed with a handgun and took his wallet, jewelry and watch.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s spokesman, Sgt. Dave Burgess said, “It appears the victim was pistol whipped at some point during the robbery. “ The incident was captured on video surveillance, but at this time arrests are yet to be made. The victim was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
