VICTORVILLE: (VVNG.com) The investigation continues in the homicide of a 20-year-old female, identified as Sofia Adams of Victorville, who was found deceased in her home early Tuesday afternoon, on June 9th, 2015.
A call to authorities was placed when the female victim was located in her apartment near the 15500 block of Hesperia Rd. with an apparent gunshot wound to her head and possible stab wounds.
According to early witness reports, her 3-year-old son was located wandering around the outside of her apartment duplex, and when he was being returned to the apartment unit where Adams lived, the gruesome discovery was made.
The San Bernardino County Scientific Investigation unit processed the scene around the clock, while investigators interviewed family, friends, neighbors, and everyone in the local proximity of the incident.
The mother of Sofia Adams was taken to a local hospital after she suffered a possible heart attack while gathering information at the Sheriff’s Department.
