New Sidewalk Installation On Amargosa Road to Be Complete Within Days

VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): The city of Victorville has been working on developing the city for many years, most of these developments bringing the once tiny city to a place Victorville residents can stay in to dine, shop and avoid long drives to get the things that they need.
Once dirt roads have turned to pavement streets, dirt walking areas have made way to sidewalks and empty fields are being filled with exciting new restaurants and shops. Residents excitedly await the upcoming arrival of a couple popular locations set to open in the spring of 2016, such as Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and BJ’s Restaurant.
City Manager Doug Robertson told Victor Valley News that after the Engineering Department noticed the high amount of foot traffic on Amargosa Road between Bonanza and Luna Roads they proposed the sidewalk installation. The approximately 1 mile stretch of sidewalk was approved by the City Council and Robertson says it appears that it should be complete sometime during the first week of November.
Robertson says they are working hard on improvements for the city and it is nice when their efforts are noticed and appreciated.
