HESPERIA-(VVNG.com): The city of Hesperia is implementing a four-way stop at the intersection of Mauna Loa and Seventh Avenue. This addition will be in effect on Friday, August 28th.
City officials say that the area was brought to their attention when a resident living at that intersection contacted the city with a concern regarding a traffic collisions at that intersection.
“There were over 30 accidents at that intersection in the last three years,” said the Rachel Molina, the City of Hesperia Public Information Officer.
Based on their findings, the city Engineering division determined that a four-way stop would be appropriate for that intersection. At this time, Molina said there are only signs on Mauna Loa, but not on Seventh Avenue.
