Neighborhood cleanup this Saturday for Apple Valley residents

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. — Apple Valley residents with yard waste, household trash, broken small appliances, furniture, metal and other items they would like to discard are encouraged to participate in a neighborhood clean-up day this Saturday, November 3.

Hosted by the Town of Apple Valley Code Enforcement Department, with the support of a grant from CalRecycle, items will be accepted between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Lion’s Park free of charge.

No tires, refrigerators, TVs or hazardous waste will be accepted. However, household hazardous waste can be taken to the collection facility at the Public Works yard at 13450 Nomwaket Road the first four Saturdays of each month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
