HESPERIA-(VVNG.com): A Thursday afternoon break in lead to the arrest of a 25-year-old Hesperia man.
On Thursday, May 7th at approximately 12:25 P.M., a resident in the 14000 block of Willow Street witnessed the subject, identified as Steven Barnett attempting to break into the home of his neighbor.
A neighbor called dispatch and reported the incident then continued on to grab a gun.
The neighbor, according to authorities held Barnett at gunpoint until deputies responded to the home.
Barnett, who was believed to be under the influence was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center on charges of being under the influence and attempted burglary.
