

Summers began following the Rhino and called the Sheriff’s Department. The driver of the Rhino, later identified as Gutierrez, attempted to flee, but wrecked in his attempt to get away. When deputies arrived on scene, Gutierrez was taken into custody.
Further investigation, lead to Gutierrez being involved in approximately 4 other commercial/residential burglaries in the City of Needles. Gutierrez was transported to the Colorado River Station and booked on the following charges; PC 459 – Commercial Burglary, PC 496 – Possession of Stolen Property, VC 10851 – Grand Theft Auto, & PC 459 – Vehicle Burglary.
