Narcotics and Weapons Found During Search Warrant; 2 Arrested

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) An early morning search warrant resulted in the arrest of two subjects for narcotic and weapons violations, officials said.

On Thursday, June 8, 2017, at approximately 6:20 a.m., Deputies Justin Carty and Justin McLean, with the assistance of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Departments Specialized Enforcement Division, served a search warrant in the 14300 block of Manzanita Road in Victorville.

During the search warrant, methamphetamine, scales, baggies, flare gun, a 9mm semi-automatic handgun and ammunition were located.

David Garcia, 34, from Victorville and Ruby Mendoza, 22, a resident of Adelanto were arrested at the residence for felon in possession of a gun, felon in possession of ammunition, sales of narcotics and possession of narcotics with a gun. Both suspects are being held in lieu of $50,000.00. Both suspects also had additional outstanding warrants they were booked on.
