VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Police are investigating multiple armed robberies that occurred across three cities in the Victor Valley on Sunday night.
At approximately 10:35 pm, on March 1, 2020, a male subject entered the AM/PM at the corner of 7th and D Streets, armed with a handgun, and demanded money from the clerk.
“After taking the money, the suspect fled the store and possibly left in a dark-colored Dodge Challenger. He was described as a Hispanic male with a small beard,” stated sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez.
The suspect was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt and pants, and a black hat.
“It is believed this suspect may be linked to other robberies which occurred last night in Apple Valley and Adelanto,” said Rodriguez.
VVNG inquired with the Apple Valley police station regarding the armed robbery reported at about 9:47 pm in the 13600 block of Apple Valley Road. The station’s spokeswoman Jackie Alban said in an email they were not releasing anything at this time.
Approximately 40 minutes after the Victorville armed robbery, at about 11:12 pm., deputies responded to another robbery, this time in the 11700 block of Air Expressway in Adelanto.
Several minutes later at 11:25 pm., an armed robbery was reported again in Adelanto, this time in the 11200 block of Palmdale Road.
The station’s spokeswoman has not replied to an email requesting additional information on the robberies.
