CAJON PASS:(VVNG.com)- If you are planning on commuting through the Cajon Pass on this Friday afternoon, be advised multiple collisions have been reported approximately 1 mile of each other.
Per CHP incident logs, at 11:02 A.M., a multi vehicle traffic collision was reported in the bypass lane on the southbound 15 freeway between the 138 and Cleghorn.
As many as five vehicles are involved including a black Subaru, a black Nissan Sentra, a Silver Honda, and a pickup truck. The multi vehicle collision is blocking both lanes.
According to CHP logs, a SIGALERT was issued at 11:19 A.M. The southbound bypass lane will be closed down for an unknown period of time. Traffic in the bypass lane is at a complete stop and people are standing outside their vehicles.
CHP is reporting a second traffic collision on the southbound 15 freeway just south of the 138. No additional information on this collision was immediately available.
A separate traffic collision was reported at 11:22 A.M., on the northbound 15 near Kenwood Avenue. Per CHP logs, three vehicles collided and injuries are unknown.
At this time injuries are unknown. More information will be updated as it becomes available.
