Multi Vehicle Traffic Collision on Highway 395

(VVNG.com)- Sheriff’s dispatch received a call reporting a multi vehicle traffic collision at approximately 10:00 a.m., on Sunday morning. The collision shut down southbound highway 395 and Palmdale Road for approximately an hour and a half.
For unknown reasons a total of four vehicles collided in the busy intersection. The impact caused a mini-van occupied by a family of four to over turn onto its roof.
Per scanner traffic, the family of four who were traveling in a Toyota Sienna mini-van were transported by two separate ground ambulances to Loma Linda Medical Center with unknown injuries. No other injuries were reported.
At this time the exact cause of the collision is under investigation. More details will be updated as information becomes available.
