Multi-Vehicle Crash on NB I-15 in Hesperia Overturns SUV, Sends One to Hospital

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Traffic on the northbound 15 Freeway was heavily congested Friday afternoon following a four-vehicle crash just north of Main Street that temporarily shut down all lanes.
The collision occurred at about 3 p.m. on February 27, 2026, and involved a white GMC pickup truck, a Honda Civic, a gray Jeep Compass SUV, and a tractor-trailer.
The GMC pickup sustained damage to the front driver’s side, while the Honda Civic had front-end damage. The gray Jeep Compass overturned during the crash. The tractor-trailer did not appear to have visible damage.
California Highway Patrol officers initially stopped all northbound lanes of traffic as firefighter-paramedics with San Bernardino County Fire evaluated the injured at the scene.

The only person transported to a hospital was the driver of the overturned SUV. The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
CHP officers later set up cones and were able to reopen one lane, allowing traffic to begin flowing again.

However, northbound traffic remained backed up south of Ranchero Road as crews continued working to clear the scene.
Motorists experienced significant delays in the area during the afternoon commute.
