WRIGHTWOOD:(VVNG.com)- Skiers and snowboarders rejoice; Mountain High Ski Resort has officially kicked off the 2015/16 season. Mountain High is Southern California’s closest winter resort with no mountain driving.
Thanks to an early dusting of snow the resort opened to the public at 8:30 A.M., on Friday, November 06, 2015.

Early Tickets are currently just $25 for adults and children 6 and under ski free when accompanied by an adult. Please note, ticket prices are likely to change as the remainder of the resort opens up later in the month.
The only trail currently open is “Cruiser” with 8-10 features, majority of the snow is currently man made. The chair lifts will operate daily from 8:30 A.M., to 4:00 P.M. Mt High encourages people to arrive early as ticket sales will be limited.
According to the company website, snow making has ceased for the moment but will resume Monday with hopes of being open top to bottom by next weekend”.
Mountain High officials are excited regarding the predictions about El Nino and the amounts of snow it could potentially bring to our local mountains.
