HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) – A motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital after a crash on the northbound Interstate 15 Freeway between Bear Valley Road and Main Street in Hesperia on Friday afternoon.
The crash was reported at about 12:07 p.m. on March 20, 2026, just north of Main Street.
A gray Nissan Altima involved in the crash sustained significant rear-end damage to the trunk area.
The black motorcycle was also damaged, with its front tire completely snapped off and separated from the bike.

The rider was taken by ground ambulance to a local hospital with complaints of chest pain.
The crash blocked the No. 1 lane and caused traffic to back up on the northbound 15 Freeway through Hesperia and into the Cajon Pass, reaching as far as Oak Hill Road.

At about 1:00 pm, the motorcycle was later loaded onto a tow truck, and the Nissan was moved to the right shoulder, allowing the California Highway Patrol to reopen all lanes.
The driver of the Nissan was not injured.
The California Highway Patrol’s Victorville station is investigating the cause of the crash.
