VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday afternoon after crashing off the roadway and down an embankment along the southbound I-15 freeway in Victorville.
The fatal incident was reported just before 4:40 p.m. on November 4, 2025, along Frontage Road, south of Stoddard Wells Road.
Authorities have not confirmed the rider’s direction of travel, but evidence at the scene suggests they may have been heading northbound when they veered off the roadway and crashed through a chain-link fence.
The motorcycle, believed to be a street bike, and a helmet were found down an embankment that separates Frontage Road from the southbound lanes of the I-15 freeway.

The rider was located nearby and pronounced deceased at the scene.
Although California Highway Patrol units responded, they did not assume control of the investigation. Officials determined the crash did not occur on the freeway, and the Victorville Police Department is handling the investigation.
As a result, Frontage Road was temporarily closed between E Street and Stoddard Wells Road.
The identity, age, and gender of the deceased have not been released. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
