VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A motorcyclist was flown to a trauma center after a traffic collision Monday afternoon in Victorville.
It happened at about 3:20 p.m., on October 23, 2023, along Bear Valley Road, just west of Hesperia Road.
According to a witness, an SUV pulled out of the Goodwill driveway and hit the bike. The rider was thrown into the air and was screaming out in a lot of pain after landing in the roadway.
Victorville City Fire responded to the incident and requested a helicopter land at nearby Desert Valley Hospital. Helicopter Reach 43 accepted the flight and subsequently airlifted the rider to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Victorville Police Department.
