Motorcycle rider airlifted after crash on Seventh Street in Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif. ( — A male motorcyclist was airlifted to a trauma center after he was involved in a traffic collision with a vehicle here Tuesday afternoon.

It happened at about 1:20 p.m. on Seventh Street near Tracey Street in Victorville and involved a dark-orange Harley Davidson and a black Acura sedan.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputies, SB County Fire Department and AMR responded and located a male rider on the ground suffering from unknown injuries.

The male was responsive and alert during the time of transport. The driver of the black sedan involved in the crash remained on scene and cooperated with officials and did not appear to be injured.

“It appears the driver of the Acura was attempting to turn into a driveway on 7th and turned into the path of the motorcycle, which was traveling northbound on 7th,” stated Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez.
