HELENDALE:(VVNG.com)- A fatal single motorcycle accident claimed the life of a well-known Helendale man and left his wife with major injuries.
41-year-old Steve Jaramillo and Lisa Brunette were riding a Harley Sportster motorcycle southbound on National Trails Highway approximately 2 miles from Vista in an area known by locals as “Little Cajon” at approximately 11:30 p.m., on Sunday.
For unknown reasons the couple crashed while riding on the motorcycle and Steve was pronounced dead on arrival. Lisa was transported by air ambulance to Loma Linda Medical Center for her injuries. According to friends, as of Monday she remains hospitalized in stable condition and suffering from a broken back.
At this time the exact cause of the accident is currently under investigation. More information will be updated as it becomes available.
