Mohave County Sheriff’s looking to ID human remains found

Mohave, Valley, AZ. (VVNG.com) — The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is looking to identify the remains of a deceased male found in the desert by a hiker.
On Friday, December 14, 2018, at about 1:00 pm, deputies were called to the desert area east of Highway 95 near mile post 193 reference human remains found.
According to sheriff’s officials, the reporting party had been hiking in the desert and found the remains.
“Several personal items were located near the body, to include a camouflage hooded sweatshirt, camouflage shorts, a blue T-shirt with the words “New York City”, black size 9 ½ tennis shoes, a blue hiking backpack with a black plastic frame, and a bible,” stated the release.
The deceased male is believed to be approximately 5’ 7” with colored tattoos on both forearms and no foul play is suspected at this time.
