VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com):  After a week of searching for 22-year-old Ronald “Ronnie” Angel Chavez his family now can rest easier knowing that he is safe. The family of Ronnie last saw him when they were at a family getaway vacation at a family-owned condo in Laughlin, Nevada. Ronnie, who was wearing swim trunks told his family that he was going swimming on the evening of Friday, April 29th.

When he did not return, the family realized that Ronnie left the condo in their vehicle. They returned home to receive a call from Ronnie on Saturday, April 30th just before 5:00 a.m. The call that he made to his mother, Rosa Chavez’ cell phone was to ask for some money because he was running out of gas. At the time, Ronnie was at the Arco Station on Mariposa and Bear Valley Roads in Victorville.

Ronnie did not return home and the money Rosa sent to his account remained untouched. Rosa called the police to report her son that was recently diagnosed with Major Depression missing. The vehicle Ronnie was driving was located on the I-15 in Baker on Saturday afternoon.
