Missing 17-year-old girl from Hesperia found safe

UPDATE 10/3 @ 8 PM — Family of the missing 17-year-old confirmed they have found her and she is back home. No further details were immediately available.

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The Hesperia Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing person, Alyssa Boelter, 17 years of age from Hesperia.

On Monday, October 1, 2018, at approximately 2:19 pm., the family of Alyssa Boelter reported her missing to the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“Deputies were advised that she was last seen at her residence at 10:30 this morning in the 10400 block of Yucca Terrance Drive, in the unincorporated county area of Hesperia after returning home from school. Alyssa had gotten into trouble at school and was upset,” police said in a news release.

She is described as a White female, 5’6″ tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds, brown hair mid-length with hazel eyes and last seen wearing a tie-dye pink and white shirt, black leggings with two white stripes down the sides of the legs and black shoes with a light blue Nike symbol.

Deputies immediately began searching the area. Sheriff’s aviation has been assisting in the search by conducting an aerial search. Deputies are also utilizing a search dog to assist in locating Alyssa.
