Hesperia resident Michael Schmoll died in a car accident on March 17, 2012 in Hesperia, CA at the age of 17 years old.
In memory of Michael, his family will be holding a book drive from May 1, 2014 through May 14, 2014. All books that are donated will be going to a local middle school special education book store which is run by the teacher and her students.
Please make sure the books are age appropriate and in new or gently used condition, so they can replenish their inventory to keep their book store running. You can also make a monetary donation via PayPal (via sherissweets@yahoo.com). Please do not leave any money at any of the drop off locations (contact Chip Kohnle – chipkohnle@aol.com to make other financial arrangements). All monetary donations will be used to purchase items on a wish list provided by the instructor.
If you would like to be recognized for your donation, they will be happy to give your name to the school, so they can show their appreciation for your generous contribution.
