Men Break Into Home; Police Find Them Sleeping

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com)- Police responded to a residence where a woman was moving from and discovered two strangers sleeping inside.
On Wednesday, December 28th the current occupants of the home were packing their personal belongings as they prepared to move. After unloading them at the new place, they returned and observed a couple of unknown men entering the residence, per scanner reports.
According to Sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez, “the victim was in the process of moving out and had some property still in the house.”
At about 1:00 a.m., deputies responded to the residence located on the 15000 block of La Cubre Drive in Victorville. Upon entering, they located two men sleeping inside.
“She [the homewoner] told the deputy that she did not want to press charges because she said she knew they were just trying to get in out of the cold,” stated Rodriguez.
One of the men, 23-year-old Jose Meza was cited and released at the scene for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
