PALMDALE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — While no one in California claimed the $707 million Mega Millions jackpot, one lucky player is walking away with a life-changing prize after purchasing a second-place winning ticket in Palmdale.
The winning ticket matched all five white balls but missed the Mega Ball, earning a base prize of $3,663,321. Because the ticket included the Megaplier option, the total prize doubled to $7,326,642.
According to California Lottery officials, the winning ticket matching all five white balls was sold at Alrabadi Gas & Mini Mart, located at 2680 E. Palmdale Blvd. in Palmdale.
The winning numbers for the Tuesday, July 21, 2026, Mega Millions drawing were 25, 37, 59, 68 and 70, with Mega Ball 10.
Lottery officials said there was no jackpot winner in California for the drawing, and the estimated jackpot of $707 million rolls over to the next drawing. In total, 66,994 winning tickets were sold statewide across all prize levels.
Players who purchased tickets for the July 21 drawing are encouraged to check their numbers and sign the back of any winning ticket before claiming their prize.
