HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Looking for something to do this Saturday in the desert? MCEC is hosting the company’s third free Cannabis Education Day at the Courtyard Marriott in Hesperia from 12 pm to 3 pm. Over 35 legal cannabis vendors are committed to attending, as well as various speakers.
“We [MCEC] truly love this event,” says MCEC Marketing Manager, Christine Ledon. “It has such a great community feel to it, and the attendees are engaged the entire time. But more importantly, we’re able to give the High Desert citizen free access to learn from some of the best in the cannabis industry, and that is what it’s all about”
Speakers will start promptly at 12:30 pm with Cannakids CEO, Tracy Ryan. She will be followed by Dr. Michael Oda of One Drop Advantage, and Shima Firoozmand of Green Bee Botanical. Green Bee Botanical will be discussing “Cannabis and Skincare”, as THC has been shown to assist in anti-aging.
Past the boardroom where the lectures are being held, attendees will enter through the doors to where the 35 vendors will be displaying. Each with their own designated table to discuss their brand and provide cannabis information to the attendees, and hand out fun items such as product coupons and clothing items. LA Kush will have a schwag wheel and Bloom Farms will have a terpene oxygen bar for attendees to try different terpenes and learn about the effects (NO THC will be in the terpenes). Food and snacks will also be available. Everything is while supplies last.
“Everything is on a first-come-first-serve basis, so I advise that those who want to attend get there early and pre-register on our Eventbrite page. This will allow for faster check-in,” says Christine. “Either way this is going to be a really fun event, and we cannot wait to be with the community.”
