Mariposa Road in Hesperia Closed After Pickup Truck Crashes into Utility Pole

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A busy stretch of Mariposa Road in the City of Hesperia was closed in both directions Monday afternoon after a pickup truck crashed into a utility pole.

The single-vehicle crash was reported at 3:49 p.m. on December 22, 2025, at the intersection of Eucalyptus Street and Mariposa Road, a well-traveled route that runs parallel to the I-15 freeway and serves as a key connector for local commuters.

For reasons still unknown, a dark-colored GMC pickup truck collided with a wooden utility pole, splintering the base, causing the pole to lean, and leaving debris scattered at the scene.
