Marijuana delivery driver robbed at gunpoint in Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A medical marijuana delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint in Victorville Sunday night.

It happened at about 8:36 pm, on September 16, 2018, at the Colony Apartments in the 14200 block of El Evado Road in Victorville.

Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez told Victor Valley News, the victim, who works for a marijuana delivery company, was contacted to drop-off business cards at the apartment complex.

The victim, his wife, and an 11-year-old child drove to the complex to drop off the cards.

“Upon arriving, two unknown Black males approached the car. One of the males, said to be wearing a red sweater and pajama pants, pointed a gun at the victim, stole a satchel from his lap, and both men ran from the location,” stated Rodriguez.

No injuries were reported. Deputies responded to the location an after an extensive search the suspects were never located.
