CAJON PASS, Calif. (VVNG.com) A man’s body was found in a van along a highway Thursday afternoon.
At around 2:48 p.m., the California Highway Patrol was made aware of an abandoned vehicle along Cajon Boulevard on June 1, 2017.
“CHP advised they had a deceased male in a vehicle at Cajon Blvd and Swarthout Canyon,” confirmed San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Cindy Bachman.
The blue van was found facing in a southwest direction on the old Cajon Boulevard close to the Interstate 15 Freeway between Cleghorn and Kenwood Blvd.
Bachman said the Homicide Division has not been requested to respond as of 5:00 p.m. and deputies are currently on scene waiting for the coroner to arrive.
At this time foul play is not suspected to be a factor.
