Man Shot Multiple Times in Hesperia

HESPERIA:(VVNG.com)- Police responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon on the 10800 block of Santa Fe east in Hesperia. The incident was reported on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at about 8:50 P.M.
Upon arrival, authorities located a male victim approximately 44-years-old suffering from multiple gun shot wounds. According to reports, the man was shot once in his head and once in his left hand. No updated information on the victims condition was immediately available.
Per scanner traffic, two or three suspects opened fire on the victim from across the street and foot bailed from the location. The suspects jumped into separate getaway vehicles. One vehicle is described as a dark blue Ford Taurus and the other vehicle is a newer model yellow Camaro.
Suspect #1 is described as a Hispanic Male Adult, about 5’7″, wearing a green shirt. Suspect #2 is described as a Hispanic Male Adult, about 5’8, muscular build, with black hair. Both suspects are reportedly armed with handguns.
Sheriff’s helicopter 40King responded to the area and assisted ground units in the search for the suspects.
At this time the cause of the shooting is under investigation. More information will be updated as it becomes available.
