Deputies found the injured man in a silver Ford pick-up truck on the #6 field. Witnesses said the driver was trying to get away from his attacker causing him to drive through the fence.

The unidentified male was transported via an air ambulance to an unknown hospital and was last listed in critical condition.

Families were using the park at the time of the incident but thankfully nobody else was hurt.

Due to the active investigation, authorities could not immediately comment on the case or release anymore information.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Apple Valley station at 760-240-7400.
